ABOUT MAUREEN E. MURDOCH

Maureen E. Murdoch is a highly experienced family law lawyer who practices in the Edmonton area. She understands that marriage and divorce are pivotal points in one’s life and endeavours to help her clients move forward with a positive, cost-effective outcome.

Maureen obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at York University and her law degree from the University of Toronto. Maureen has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta since 1991. For the past 15 years, Maureen’s practice has been solely focused in the area of family law. Prior to that time, she combined her family law practice with criminal defence, child protection and corporate/real estate matters. Maureen has taught the “Parenting After Separation” course and has completed intensive training in Mediation and Arbitration. 

Maureen is a down-to-earth professional with a proven track record for achieving excellent results for her clients through hard work, strategic preparation and effective communication. Whether your matter is fairly straightforward or complex, she has a wide range of skills to bring to the table, including a strong background in high conflict custody litigation, financial planning, business valuation and extensive negotiation and litigation skills.
